    I hope you’re doing well. I used to work at Frasca Food & Wine and am currently living in Brooklyn, NY.

    I need some advice and help in spreading the word of my project. It’s called Shade Market, and we study the human relationship with food across different cultures. Our intention is to educate a more mindful and sustainable way of eating.

    I’m moving to Thailand in January, then will continue traveling for a few years to research this work. My boyfriend/business partner and I will be working with sustainable farmers, home cooks, chefs, and holistic doctors, learning how people eat in different parts of the world. We are striving to build a more connected relationship with our food and where it comes from.

    We launched a Kickstarter campaign a couple weeks ago, and the video explains more about the work. If there’s anything you can do to help us spread the word, it would be so greatly appreciated. We have a long way to go and only have until December 9th to reach our goal. If our goal isn’t met, we don’t get any funds. Whether you can share on social media, with your food-loving community and powers in the food world, anything you can think of, I would be forever grateful.

  2. Hi John, I really missed you when you left the Dailey Camera Wednesday Food Section!
    I just saw the article in the Encompass magazine and wondered if you are aware of Robin’s Chocolate on Airport Rd in Longmont. I have been enjoying their excellent treats since moving across the road from them.

    Theve got a honey chicken, bacon taco with manderine orange slices.
    It is fabulous!
